Prabha’s military halted after crew member’s death

According to Deccan Chronicle, the unexpected incident took place near Abdullapurmet on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The film crew was reportedly traveling to Ramoji Film City for a scheduled shoot when their vehicle lost control and crashed into a cement divider.

Although the identity of the deceased has not yet been officially released, the injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Hence, director Hanu Raghavapudi and producers Mythri Movie Makers decided to temporarily suspend the shooting. Having said that, no official statement has been issued by the makers of Fauji in this regard.

What do we know about the soldier?

Fauji is an upcoming period war drama set during 1940s British India, which was produced on a huge budget. Reports suggest that Prabhas is playing the role of a soldier in this high-octane action film. The film stars social media sensation Imanvi Ismail, who is making her big screen debut in the lead role with Rebel Star.

Veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Anupam Kher will also play lead roles in the film. The film is expected to release on the big screens in late 2026.

Talking about Prabhas’ work front, the actor started the year by entertaining the audience with his horror-comedy film The Raja Saab. The audience is excited about her much-awaited collaboration with Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Spirit. He will be seen in an intense avatar as a cop opposite Tripti Dimri.
