Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has expressed her concern over Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Chairman SN Subramanian’s recent remarks regarding the work-life balance of employees.
During a meeting with employees, Subramanian suggested that employees should be prepared to work seven days a week to be successful. Deepika shared a post on social media to express her disagreement, calling the statement ‘shocking’.

On Thursday, the chairperson of multinational company Larsen & Toubro advocated a 90-hour work week on Sundays as well. “I regret that I can’t make you work on Sundays. If I could make you work on Sundays, I would be happier. What do you do sitting at home? How long can you keep staring at your wife yes?” the L&T chief said during an interaction with employees.
