She lived a full, joyful life: Boney Kapoor’s mourning mother Nirmal dies
Boney Kapoor shared an emotional note in Saturday hours and mourned the death of his mother Nirmal Kapoor. She was alive by four children- Boney, Anil, Sanjay and Reena Kapoor.
Filmmaker Boney Kapoor shared a statement after the death of his mother Nirmal Surinder Kapoor on 2 May. He died in 90 due to an chronic disease. Nirmal Kapoor was the mother of Boney, Anil and Sanjay Kapoor.
“On May 2, 2025, he died peacefully, was surrounded by his beloved family. She lived a full and joyful life, left behind four dedicated children, loving daughters, a careful son-in-law, eleven grandson, four great-grandchildren, and a lifetime dress memories,” read in the statement.
“His generous soul and infinite love touched everyone who knew him. He will remain in our hearts. Vayu, Aira, Yuvan,” it was added.

Nirmal Kapoor, wife of late producer Surinder Kapoor, was widely awarded within the film industry. He was often clicked on family ceremonies and industry events.
