Share Market Update: Nifty Bank Index moves 0.61%

New Delhi: The Nifty Bank Index closed on a positive note on Monday.

Axis Bank Ltd. (2.38 per cent increase), ICICI Bank Limited (1.52 per cent), Industries Bank Limited (0.76 per cent), Federal Bank Ltd. (0.42 percent increase) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.

On the other hand, AU Small Finance Bank Limited (2.2 percent below), IDFC First Bank Ltd. (1.11 percent below), State Bank India F India (0.65 percent) and Canara Bank (0.5 percent below) lost the top of the day.

The Nifty Bank Index closed 0.61 percent to close at 48354.15.

The benchmark NSE Nifty 50 index ended 111.55 points at 22508.75, while the BSE Sensex was at 341.04 points 74 74169.95.

Living events

      In 50 stocks of the Nifty Index, 32 finished in green, while 18 closed in red.

      Shares of Vodafone Idea, Yes Bank, Ola Electric Mobilit, Suzlon Energy and Zomato were one of the highest trades on the NSE.

      Shares of NACL Industries, Cummat Hotels, Avanti Feeds, India Shelter Finance Corp and Blue Jet Healthcare have hit a new high of 52-weeks in today’s trade, while Goldstone Tech, Inventurus Knowledge, Global Education, Asian Oilfield, and Bhani.
