Shamita Shetty has given a sharp response to the troll who targeted her over her age and single status. Sharing screenshots of the exchange on social media, the actor addressed the comments about his appearance and marital status, and also asked the user to unfollow him.
In a comment shared by Shamita, the user wrote, “You have grown older and you are no longer the same. (You are old now; you are not the same as you used to be).” Responding to this, Shamita said that aging is a natural part of life and physical appearance changes with time.

“Yes, I will look different. Things change with time – it’s the natural way of life. Nothing lasts forever, including physical appearance! But for my age, I am healthy, fit and happy, with a grateful heart for everything the Almighty has given me and that’s all that matters to me,” she wrote.
Shamita also replied to another comment asking why she is not married yet. The user wrote, “If you had done it at the time of marriage, your children would have grown up today. (If you had got married on time, your children would have grown up by now).” In response, he questioned what the user believed he had achieved in life simply by getting married.
“What have you lost by getting married, brother?? Most importantly, why do you follow us single women to age-sham us and influence us with your patriarchal, cave-man-like, male-centric thought process? Please do me a favor and unfollow me immediately!”
