Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde are currently teaming up on their upcoming film Deva, which is currently in its post-production stage. Earlier, the action-thriller was scheduled to release on February 14, 2025, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. But the film has now been shifted to a new date i.e. January 31, 2025. Similarly, Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming mass entertainer Chhaava is now scheduled for theatrical release on February 14, 2025, instead of February 19, 2025.

After entertaining the audience with Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya earlier this year, Shahid Kapoor is all set to play the lead role in Roshan Andrews’ action thriller Deva alongside Pooja Hegde. Before this, his fans will have to wait till 14 February 2025 to see this film on the big screen. But now, cinemagoers can enjoy the show on January 31, 2025, the film’s PR team confirmed.

“Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films’ action thriller Deva, starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, will release on screens on January 31, 2025,” their statement read. Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker, the film is produced by Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The film also stars Pavail Gulati.

Another news that made Vicky Kaushal’s fans jump with joy was the preponing of his upcoming film, Chhaava. The makers of the film officially announced that the film, which was scheduled to release on the big screens on February 19, 2025, is now set for a theatrical release on February 14, 2025.

This decision has been taken keeping in mind the fact that February 19, 2025 will be celebrated as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti in the country. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Laxman Utekar, the film stars Vicky as the son of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna as his wife Maharani Yesubai Bhosle, Sunil Shetty as Lord Krishna Vasudev Yadav and Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb. Apart from them, actors like Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam, Santosh Juvekar and Pradeep Rawat will also play important roles in the film.
