After actor Shah Rukh Khan’s National Award win, an old video has been resumed in which the actor expressed that he should have won the award for the 2004 film ‘Swedes’. Instead, the award went to his contemporary, Saif Ali Khan for his performance in ‘Hum Tum’, which was released in the same year.
In the video that is returned in the late 2000s, Khan, standing with Kunal Kohli, director of ‘Hum Tum’, can be seen saying during an incident, “See, the main heart of the main heart. All the movie Achie Lag Hain, all the heroes are legs, Sari Heroine Achi Laga Hain, every Chase Achie looks (I am good at heart. I like all movies, all heroes and all heroines). I am a person with an ordinary mind; I like everything including your movies. I have loved them all. ,
He continued, “‘Fana’ was very good. I think ‘we tum’ was very good. His actor won the national award for ‘Hum Tum’, when I think I should have got it, but this is another story.” He then laughed with sly while Kohli looked strange. The humorous comment came with laughter, even Kohli smiled with sheep.

Social media users reacted to the video shared on Reddit and broadly agreed with Khan’s perspective. One of the users said, “I agreed here, I cannot fathom how Saif was also considered ‘we tums’ to receive the award. I have seen ‘we tums’ and I like it, but do I believe it was what Saif makes national awardable? No, not (SIC)”. Another comment made, “SRK was here .. (SIC)”.

A user highlighted that one of the jury members had issues with ‘SWEs’, which had stopped SRK’s opportunity to win the National Award that year. “Unfortunately, TS Naga Bharan was in the jury that year and openly questioned the integrity of ‘SWAD’, even claiming that it acclaims his own film,” read by comment.

Despite the lack of a national award, the 59 -year -old performance in ‘Swedes’ is still celebrated.
Shah Rukh Khan on Friday waited by winning the National Award for Best Actor for his role in ‘Jawan’. He shared the award for ’12th failure’ with actor Wikrant Massey. Rani Mukherjee also received the Best Actress Award for ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’.
