The 1997 war epidemical border is one of the most prestigious films in Indian cinema, and its upcoming sequel Border 2 is already creating a large -scale discussion. While Sunny Deol is ready to resume a powerful role, the sequel will be seen in addition to young stars like Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanj, and Ahaan Shetty. Interestingly, Ahaan’s involvement in the film has brought a heartfelt response to his father, actor Sunil Shetty, who was an important part of the origin yet.

In the border, Sunil Shetty depicted Captain Bhairon Singh, a brave soldier who made a final sacrifice during the 1971 India-Pakistan War. Asked in a recent interview with India today, whether he felt any regret about not being a part of Seema 2, Shetty gave a response that was touching honest and depth. “Yes and no … no because my son is doing it,” he shared. “If Bhairon Singh is not there, then at least Ahaan will be there.”

The actor expressed great pride in his son Ahaan, who joined the actors of the sequel, called it a full-cycle moment for the Shetty family. Recalling his own journey with Seema, Sunil also praised the actors of the sequel, saying, “All my favorite actors are part of the film.” He had special words for Sunny Deol, which says he shares with an electric working chemistry, and Varun Dhawan, whom he has revealed, has taken Ahaan under his wing like a true elder brother.

“Varun and Ahaan are the magic together,” said Sunil. “Varun is also taking care of Ahaan. Every time he comes home from the shoot, he says to me,” Papa, Varun is such a good boy. ” This is the relationship that there is a lot of work for all of us.

Sunil also revealed that Ahaan is thrilled to work with global star Diljit Dosanjh, almost a fan-like state. “He is very excited,” Shetty shared, saying that he could not wait to watch the film on a big screen.

Ahaan Shetty shared an emotional post on Instagram on her behalf when her casting was announced. “Seema is more than a film – it becomes a legacy, a feeling and a dream true,” he wrote. Recalling that when she visited Sunil on the original border set, her mother was pregnant with her, Ahaan reflected how that film unknowingly shaped her love for cinema and armed forces. “And for you, Papa -Everything I am because of you, and I will try my best to respect the heritage that you have worked so hard to make,” he said.

Meanwhile, Sunil Shetty will be seen next time in Kesari Veer, which is scheduled for a dramatic release on 23 May.
