Sebi said in a statement that the hackathon intends to bring India’s bright mind together to develop digital-first solutions to cope with real-world challenges in the securities market.
The theme for hackathon is “driving innovation and tech oriented solutions in the securities market”.
Participants will need to create tools that empower retail investors and increase transparency, efficiency, compliance and accession in capital markets. They have to develop solutions using technical and innovative approaches, especially targeting any problem statements such as fraud prevention; Increase in education and engagement of retail investors; Improve fluid in bond markets; And Member compliance inspection.
Hackathon also offers participants to display their innovative solutions at the Global Fintech Fest as well as win cash prizes.
