The first footage from the much-awaited film ‘The Apprentice’ has been released, giving a glimpse into the early years of Donald Trump’s career and his complicated relationship with infamous lawyer Roy Cohn. The one-minute clip released on September 3 IST features Sebastian Stan as a young Trump and Jeremy Strong as the influential Cohn.

In the brief but impressive clip, viewers see Roy Cohn (Strong) coaching Trump (Stein) as he conducts a phone interview with a reporter. Trump, with a calm but firm demeanor, announces his ambitious intentions: “I intend to acquire the Commodore, and I plan to make it the best and finest building in the city, maybe in the country – the world. It’s going to be the finest building in the world.”

Strong’s performance as the Tramp is remarkably restrained, eschewing any exaggerated mannerisms and opting for a more restrained performance. Known for his method acting, Strong captures Cohan’s distinctive nasally New York accent, bringing authenticity to the scene.
