Two women have filed cases against Scene Didi Comombs, alleging sexual harassment in the late 1990s. The cases filed in the Supreme Court of New York County on February 4 were brought by two women identified as Jane Do. They claim that they were active in the hip-hop industry in the 1980s and 1990s and often interacted with Comombs.
First, Jane Does, alleging that Comombs assaulted her in several states including California. However, the claims in the trial focus on incidents that were reportedly occurred in New York. One of the alleged attacks took place at a party at Didi Comombs’ house in Hampton.
According to the trial received by the people, she was hired for the bottle service, but after a drink, she felt disoriently. She alleges that Comombs’ colleagues attacked her and were naked when he was present and naked. She also claims that the incident may have been recorded, but Combes refused to remove the footage.
Another alleged incident occurred in the city of New York in the late 1990s. The first accused claims that he attended a party at the Limelight Knight Club, where Comombs stopped him from leaving.
She alleges that she took her and a friend to the Trump Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, where she was held against her wish, forced to engage in drugs, and group sex. According to court documents, he was sexually harassed for several hours before allowing to leave the next morning.
The second Jane Doe make similar allegations. She claims that Combes were violent towards her and subjected to sexual harassment on several occasions.
He also attended the limelight party and alleged that Comombs saw, while he was physically and sexually harassed. She further claims that she and a friend were forced to take drugs and participate in group sex.
Both women are sueing her under the victims of New York City, who is victims of the Gender-inspired Violence Protection Act. They are seeking compensatory damage for physical injuries, emotional crisis, psychological losses, humiliation and other trauma. Additionally, they are asking for punitive damage and fees of lawyers.
Comombs lawyers issued a statement refusing the claims. The statement said, “As we’ve said earlier, Mr. Combes cannot answer every new promotional stunt, even in response to those claims that are facial ridiculous or protesting.”
“Mr. Comombs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and integrity of the judicial process. In the court, the truth will be strong: that Mr. Comombs never sexually harassed or smuggled any, male or female, adult or minor.”
The cases were filed on the same day, another accused, a male musician, alleged that Comombs drugs him in 2015 and had oral sex on him.
Comombs are currently being organized on charges of sex trafficking, transportation and racket for sex trafficking, prostitution at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Their test is scheduled to begin on 5 May.
