Sprouts Dahi Bhalla is a great option for breakfast or dessert when you’re on a diet. Its main ingredient, sprouts, is rich in protein, fibre, folate, magnesium and vitamin K, making it a filling and satisfying option. Unlike traditional bhallas, this version is steamed instead of fried, so you can enjoy the flavour without any guilt. And because it’s not fried and is full of flavour, even fussy eaters won’t mind the sprouts. Serve this tasty snack at your next house party or function, and watch your guests come back for more!

Can you make Sprouts Dahi Bhalla in advance?

Sprouted dahi bhalla is best eaten fresh. However, if you’re short on time, you can prepare it in advance. Instead of soaking the sprouted bhallas in the yogurt mixture, steam them and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where they’ll keep for up to two days. Mix the yogurt ingredients separately and refrigerate to prevent them from turning sour. When ready to serve, warm the sprouted bhallas in the microwave for two minutes, then assemble the dish. This way, you’ll enjoy the flavors as if they were freshly made.
