Sarvam Maya Kerala Box Office Day 1: Nivin Pauly’s horror-comedy takes sensational start, collects Rs 3.50 crore

Malayalam film Sarvam Maya starring Nivin Pauly in the lead role registered a stellar opening at the box office. Estimates suggest that the film made approximately Rs. Earning 3.50 crores on first day at Kerala box office, which is the best single opening of Nivin Pauly’s career. The film had promised advance sales on the first day, which was already indicating a good start. Apart from this, the film also got the benefit of Christmas Day holidays in Kerala.

Written and directed by Akhil Sathyan, Sarvam Maya has received a positive response among the audiences so far, which means the film is set to perform favorably at the box office. Since Malayalam movies perform well during the Christmas-New Year period, Sarvam Maya is expected to be the top choice among the audience from today.

Apart from Sarvam Maya, Mohanlal’s period film Vrishabh also released on the big screens today. However, it turned out to be a major failure at the box office. While Vrishabh has already sealed its fate, Nivin Pauly’s film will have to pit against stalled releases – Bha Bha Bha and Kalamkaval. Now it will be interesting to see how well the film performs over the weekend.
