Sanjay Dutt on UK visa rejection: They need to rectify it
Sanjay Dutt recently revealed in an interview that his UK visa was rejected when he was about to go for the shooting of ‘Son of Sardaar’ with Ajay Devgn and team. The actor said that the UK government has not done the right thing.

Sanjay Dutt has finally broken his silence on the government’s rejection of his UK visa in a new interview. The actor was scheduled to travel to the UK to shoot for his upcoming film ‘Son of Sardaar’.
In an interview Bombay TimesSanjay Dutt expressed his disappointment over the decision and said that the UK government has acted in an unfair manner. He said, “They gave me a visa (initially). In the United Kingdom, everything was ready. Then a month later you are cancelling my visa! I gave you (to the UK government) all the papers and everything. Why did you give me a visa (in the first place)? You shouldn’t have given me a visa. How did it take you a month to understand the laws?”
Moreover, there were reports that Sanjay Dutt has been replaced by Ravi Kishan in the film and Dutt will now only be seen in a cameo role. When asked about this, the actor refused to comment and claimed that he was not aware of any such change.
The ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ also clarified that he is not really deprived of the project. He said, “I am not deprived of anything. But yes, they have done wrong. They need to correct it. I am a law-abiding citizen. I follow the law and I respect the law of every country.”
Ajay Devgn has begun shooting for his upcoming film. He shared this exciting news on Instagram by sharing some behind the scenes clips from the sets of the film. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film will be shot in the UK, followed by India.
The first installment ‘Son of Sardar’ featured Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. ‘Son of Sardar 2’ will see Ajay Devgn reprise his role, while reports suggest that Sanjay Dutt has been replaced by Ravi Kishan. Mrunal Thakur has reportedly been cast as the female lead.
