Samsung’s latest teaser on its official website shows that the company is planning to launch a new Galaxy A series phone. The launch is scheduled for March 2, 2025, and the company has already opened Registration For those interested in new devices. While Samsung has not revealed the exact names of the phone, leaks and rumors suggest that the lineup will include the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and possibly the Galaxy A26. These phones are expected to succeed in last year’s Galaxy A55, A35 and A25.

A new design is expected in the upcoming Galaxy A series phone. All three models are rumored to perform 6.7 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The Galaxy A56 and A36 are asked to offer a glitter of 1200 notes. The A56 Gorilla Glass can come up with the Victus Protection, while the A36 may have the facility of Gorilla Glass 7i. On the other hand, A26, Gorilla Glass is expected to be an unwarded version.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A56 is likely to be operated by the Exynos 1580 chipset, while the Galaxy A36 may feature Snapdragon 6 General 3 processor. The Galaxy A26, if it cuts, can come with an exynos 1280 chipset. All three phones are expected to run on top with Samsung’s UI 7 on Android 15. One of the most exciting rumors is that these phones can get six years of OS updates, which was previously introduced with the Galaxy A16.
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy A56 and A36 expect a 50-megapixel triple-camera setup similar to their predecessors. The Galaxy A26 can also follow the suit, although with a slightly different specifications. On the battery front, the A56 and A36 are rumored to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, while the A26 is rumored to facilitate 4,565mAh battery and 25W charging.
The Galaxy A56 and A36 are expected to feature under-display fingerprint scanner, while A26 may stick to a side-mounted fingerprint reader. For RAM and storage, A26 can offer 6GB or 8GB RAM, A36 can come with 6GB to 8GB RAM, and A56 can have RAM up to 12GB. All three models are expected to offer internal storage up to 256GB.
According to a report by 91mobiles HindiThe Galaxy A36 can start from Rs 32,999, while the Galaxy A56 can be priced at Rs 41,999. The Galaxy A26, if launched, can come for about Rs 28,000. These prices are slightly higher than their predecessors, but can make up the upgradation increase in performance, performance and software support.
