Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may be launched next month: Leaked price and specifications
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may launch as early as next month, with leaks pointing to improved upgrades in display efficiency, camera performance, and charging speeds. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming Samsung phone.

Samsung’s next Ultra phone is already a topic of discussion, although the company has not made anything official yet. The latest leak suggests that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be unveiled as early as next month, which would make it one of the first major flagship launches of 2026. What’s interesting this time is that Samsung isn’t chasing flashy changes just to grab attention. Instead, the focus appears to be on refining areas that are important in daily use, such as battery life, camera stability, charging speed, and overall efficiency. If these leaks are accurate, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could turn out to be one of Samsung’s most balanced premium phones in the last few years. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming Samsung phone.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may be launched next month: leaked specifications
According to tipster @TheGalox_ on Samsung’s Ultra models usually set the tone for the rest of its flagship lineup, and often influence what other Android brands do throughout the year. That is why the initial leaks about this phone are also being closely monitored.
One of the most talked about upgrades is the display. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to feature Samsung’s new M14 OLED panel. Compared to the M13 OLED used on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, this panel is claimed to be around 20 to 30 percent more power-efficient. While it can still support very high brightness levels, Samsung is reportedly focusing more on saving power rather than pushing the peak brightness numbers. In real-world use, this could mean better battery life, especially for users who spend long periods of time scrolling, watching videos, or gaming.
The display may also have a built-in privacy feature that limits viewing angles. This will make it difficult for people sitting next to you to glance at your screen in public places. For things like reading messages, checking email or using banking apps on the go, this can prove really useful.
The camera upgrade is another highlight of the leak. Samsung is expected to use a wider aperture on both the main camera and the 5x telephoto lens. The main sensor can go from an f/1.7 aperture to f/1.4, while the telephoto lens can go from f/3.4 to f/2.9. Wider apertures allow more light to reach the sensor, usually resulting in cleaner photos with less noise, especially in low-light situations.
There are also signs that Samsung wants to give users more control over how photos and videos appear. The new Camera Assistant options on One UI 8.5 may let users reduce the overly fast processing that some people associate with Samsung cameras. Video recording may also benefit from adjustable autofocus transition speeds. This means users can choose between fast focus shifts for action shots or slower, smoother shifts for a more cinematic experience.
Additionally, Samsung is reportedly working on better lens coatings. These upgrades will hopefully reduce glare and fix problems like bad highlights and unnatural skin tones. There could be a small but useful change to the selfie camera, which features a wider 22mm lens that makes group selfies easier without having to stretch your arm too far.
Charging is another area where Samsung could finally make a notable leap forward. Breaking Samsung’s long-standing 45W limit, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to support 60W wired fast charging. If this proves to be true, the phone could be charged up to 50 percent in less than 15 minutes. Fast wireless charging is also expected, although specific details are still unclear.
Inside, the phone is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The standard edition is said to be made by TSMC using a 3nm process, while a special “For Galaxy” edition may be produced by a Samsung foundry on a more advanced 2nm process. Additionally, Samsung may use a faster version of LPDDR5X RAM, clocked at up to 10.7Gbps. It can help with tasks like AI-based image processing and reducing shutter lag during photography.
Ultimately an increase in battery capacity may also be seen. After sticking with 5000mAh batteries for several generations, Samsung may introduce a battery between 5100mAh and 5400mAh on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Despite this, the phone could be really thin, with leaks suggesting a thickness of around 7.9mm. A noticeable camera bump is also expected to return, which will make room for upgraded camera hardware.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Price details, launch timeline leaked
Reports suggest that some markets, including South Korea, may see price revisions with the Galaxy S26 series, while prices in the US may remain the same as the current lineup. For India, the price of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be close to its predecessor’s price, unless Samsung makes a last-minute change. Of course, Samsung hasn’t revealed anything yet. For reference, the Galaxy S25 Ultra was launched in India for Rs 1,29,999.
In terms of launch timeline, leaks point to the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco on February 25, where the Galaxy S26 series may debut. Although nothing is official yet, the wait may not be too long. If these leaks are true, Samsung’s next Ultra phone could be less about dramatic changes and more about getting the basics right.
