Samsung is set to host its annual Galaxy Unpacked event tomorrow, January 22. At the event, the company is confirmed to launch four new smartphones: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the much-awaited Galaxy S25 Slim. , However, the latter is said to be unveiled at the event tomorrow itself, with its launch scheduled for sometime later. Ahead of the launch, nothing official has been revealed, but there have been enough leaks and teasers about the new Samsung flagship to give us a good idea of what to expect from the phone. Here are 5 things we may already know about the 2025 Galaxy flagships.
Galaxy S25 series will have Snapdragon chipset
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series will likely feature a Snapdragon chipset. This comes from a teaser from Snapdragon itself. In a post on X by Samsung, announcing the official launch date for Galaxy Unpacked, Snapdragon responded with “see you there.” All this confirms that the Galaxy S25 smartphones will be powered by the company’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Galaxy S25 series price in India
The price of Samsung Galaxy S25 series may be higher than the Galaxy S24 series. This is based on a recent leak suggesting that, in Europe, the Galaxy S25 base variant with 128GB storage will be priced at 964 Euros (roughly Rs. 85,000), with the 256GB model expected to be priced at 1,026 Euros (roughly Rs. 91,000). While the price of 512GB can be around 1,151 euros (about Rs 1,01,000). Compared to the Galaxy S24, it was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 79,999 for the 256GB variant and Rs 89,999 for the 512GB model.
For the Galaxy S25+, the price is expected to start at 1,235 Euros, which would be around Rs 1,09,000 for the 256GB variant, while the highest variant with 512GB storage is said to be priced at 1,359 Euros, which would be around Rs 1,09,000. 20,000. Galaxy S25 series storage options
The leak also reveals that we can expect storage options in the Galaxy S25 series phones. Reportedly, the Galaxy S25 will come in three storage variants: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB options. The Galaxy S25+ is believed to come in only 256GB and 512GB options this year, skipping the 128GB variant. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, on the other hand, is rumored to come in 512GB and 1TB variants.
Galaxy S25 slim-ness leaked
One of the highlights of the Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to be the much-hyped Galaxy S25 Slim. And as the name suggests, the device is expected to be Samsung’s thinnest phone yet. A recent leak revealed that the Galaxy S25 Slim will be just 6.4mm thick – that’s if you don’t include the protruding thickness of the camera module. If you include it, it will reportedly measure around 8.3mm. That’s still pretty impressive, considering the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumored to be 8.2mm thick even without the camera bump.
Galaxy S25 series pre-reservation
Samsung has officially started pre-reservations for the Galaxy S25 series devices in India. For a refundable amount of Rs 1,999, customers can pre-reserve their Galaxy S25 ahead of the official launch. Note, this is not equivalent to pre-booking a device, you still have to place an order for the device you want. However, this will ensure quicker access, and will also give you the benefit of some discount of up to Rs 5,000. Pre-reservation benefits will be available at both online and offline stores.
