Slotting between Samsung Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra with Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, it is only natural to surprise that one of the three is to be achieved. Especially in markets like India and America, where the edge is just $ 100/INR 10,000 more expensive than S25+. Even if two devices are created for separate users, it is always appropriate to get the best hardware for your hard-earned money.
However, European consumers have this easy. The plus model goes from the edge to about € 400 less. So is it worth the price premium of the edge? Let’s know.

Even though both handsets share almost the same design, camera island, and the same screen diagonal, S25 Edge has a clear advantage. It is quite light, slimmer and even less than negligence and narrow. So when it comes to portability, the S25 edge is a clear option.
As far as build quality is concerned, the age is better again. The handset has a hard gorilla glass ceramic 2 protective panel on the front side, and a light and strong titanium frame.

There is absolutely no discrepancy in the demonstration department. Galaxy S25 Edge and S25+ share the same display technology, size, features and resolution. Both screens were able to increase slightly higher 1,400 NitsWhich is perfectly fine for external use even on a bright sunshine day.
battery life
The Galaxy S25 has a much lower battery capacity than the S25+with the edge, it is no surprise that this inferior battery provides life. The plus model improves the edge in every battery test, but we are surprised to see the shore being very close to the S25+ in the video playback test.

The charging of the Galaxy S25+is capted using the power delivery charger at 45W that supports Samsung’s ownership PPS, while the S25 Edge resides for 25W charge. In theory, the S25+ must be quite sharp, but in fact it is not so.
Both phones have comparable charging time from 0 to 100%. Samsung has been very conservative with its charging speed and its Galaxy S phones usually take the same time to fully charge.
Nevertheless, S25+ gives you more charge in the first 15 to 30 minutes of the charging cycle, which is more practical in our books. Nearly no one charges his phone from 0 to 100% in a hurry, so we consider the charging curve of S25+better for the real -world scenarios.
Speaker test
While the sound tuning is the same, the Galaxy S25+ comes to the top with full sound and more major bass. Loudspeakers on plus are also a loud loud.
This is expected to see the size of the S25 edge to some extent. In this case, small phones, or thin people, find it difficult to produce strong bass and are generally quiet.
Display
The Galaxy S25+ and S25 Edge shares the same chipset – Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. The suffix “for Galaxy” means that the CPU and the GPU are overclock. More especially, the main two CPU core move at high clock speed than the standard SD8 elite class.

As anyone expects, there is hardly any performance difference. The S25+ S25 makes the edge better than 2-3% and even falls behind in the joint antu 10 testing. No surprise here.
Camera comparison
The Galaxy S25 Edge uses Samsung’s flagship 200MP sensor for its primary camera, lends the Galaxy S25/S25+ Ultravide Unit and completely leaves the telephoto camera. On the other hand, S25+, a small 50MP main sensor, a full 3x zoom unit and a 12MP ultravide camera similar to the edge. The only difference is that the ultravide camera of the edge has autofocus.
Selfie cameras are the same.
image quality
We are surprised to see the main camera of the Galaxy S25+producing images with relatively similar quality. In addition to some minor differences in processing, which are the best trivial, the Galaxy S25 Edge and S25+ capture almost identical photos with their main cameras. The same goes for ultravide shots, where the edge takes a little advantage due to autofocus, which helps in producing slightly sharp images.
Galaxy S25 Edge: 0.6X • 1x • 2x • 3x
Galaxy S25+: 0.6x • 1x • 2x • 3x
We were expecting a slightly better 2x zoom crops from the edge, looking at the 200MP sensor, but we struggle to find any meaningful difference. The same 3x zoom goes to comparison, where the 200MP camera crop corresponds to the 3x telephoto camera dedicated to the S25+.
But as the light falls, the 200MP main camera of the edge shows somewhat cleaner and sharper 2x and 3x zoom photos. So, at the end of the day, the lack of 3x zoom camera does not seem to have an issue with the edge. At least in this context.
Galaxy S25 Edge: 0.6X • 1x • 2x • 3x
Galaxy S25+: 0.6x • 1x • 2x • 3x
We saw a little difference in post-processing of low light images from the main cameras. Galaxy S25 edge shots provide more contrast and slightly darker, more natural shade.
video quality
Below we have some framegrabs from videos taken by two phones at each focal length, so it is easy to compare each other.
Galaxy S25 Edge 4K Screenplay: 0.6X • 1x • 2x • 3x
Galaxy S25+ 4K Screengbs: 0.6x • 1x • 2x • 3x
For video, there is no difference between almost edge and plus. Nevertheless, we would like the S25+, given that the 3x zoom video edge has a slight cleaner than the 3x zoom crop. The gap lights wide as a drop, as the S25+telephoto unit produces much less noise and more detailed videos.
Decision
At first glance, the Galaxy S25 sacrifices a lot in favor of the edge design. This is definitely a better option than S25+, when it comes to portability. But the latter will give you long battery life, fast charging and good speakers.
On paper, the camera system of the Galaxy S25+is also more versatile, but this is not the case in the real -world landscapes. The main sensor of S25 Edge can distribute images like 3x telephoto.
Therefore, while the edge sounds like a good option, given the small value difference between the two handsets in the US, the Galaxy S25+ makes a much more understandable in both India and Europe, where it signifies the edge significantly. You just have to decide whether you prioritize the form at the function or vice versa.

- Slim and lightweight design.
- Broadly the same camera experience.
- More premium build.
