Once again, a new leak has indicated that the Galaxy S25 Edge will debut on May 13 and this time with an official-like teaser. While the company has not yet confirmed the launch date of the Galaxy S25 Edge, a tipster Ivan Blass (which is previously known as Twitter) shared an official poster on X, revealing the date.
The leaked poster does not reveal much about the product, except for the launch date and the slim profile of the Galaxy S25 Edge. In the middle, where there is a shadow of the upcoming phone in the leaked image, it says, “Beyond slim.” He said, we already know what the phone will look like.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Design
The Galaxy S25 was the first to tease during the launch event, Samsung confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge would be a new entry into the latest flagship S25 lineup. After a few weeks, we showed The Age in MWC 2025. During this incident, the company showed the design of the phone, which revealed a dual-camera setup on the back panel and an ultraslim profile.
According to the leaked information, the device will be significantly diluted at only 5.84 mm thick. With ultraslim design, Samsung has chosen the option of a titanium frame to ensure that the phone remains lighter, durable and resistant to scratches. It was shown in MWC three-color variants: Titanium IC Blue, Titanium Jet Black and Titanium Silver.
A new leakage has indicated that when the design is pleased, there may be a possible absence of another speaker. The image indicates that the Galaxy S25 edge can only be equipped with a bottom-firing speaker, rather than a stereo speaker setup, usually found in other flagship devices. If accurate, it can be a lethargy for users who often watch videos or listen to music without using a headphone.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: What is expected
Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 Edge is estimated to be operated by Snapdragon 8 Elite Processor – the same chipset was painted in the Galaxy S25 lineup. It is expected to be paired with 12 GB RAM, which ensures smooth and responsible performances.
On the photography front, the S25 edge has been tipped to sports a dual camera system, with a 200-megapixel main sensor in the rear. For selfie and video calls, a 12-megapixel front-facing camera is likely to be included. It is confirmed that the upcoming phone will not carry the telephoto camera, unlike the rest of the Galaxy S25 series.
A potential defect may be battery capacity. The device is rumored for a 4,000mAh battery, which is usually slightly smaller than in other flagship models.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Expected Price
The leaked information has also highlighted the possible pricing of the Galaxy S25 Edge. The 256GB variant is expected to be priced approximately 1,362 (about Rs 1,28,300), while the 512GB version can come for Euro 1,488 (about Rs 1,40,200). These figures are slightly higher than earlier predictions, which keep the S25 edge above the Galaxy S25+ in terms of pricing.
In India, reports suggest that the price of the handset can be between Rs 1,13,000 and Rs 1,31,900, which keeps it very close to the Galaxy S25 Ultra instead of the standard Galaxy S25, which starts at Rs 80,999.
