Samsung S25 series: what to expect
Samsung has shared a glimpse of 4 phones in the teaser. Rumors have also indicated that this year the company will release a different fourth model than usual. The S25 Slim may also make the cut this year along with the Samsung S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. The slim variant is expected to compete with the rumored iPhone 17 Air (could launch in September 2025).
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series has created a lot of buzz even before its official debut due to several leaks and rumors. The flagship lineup is expected to get a major performance upgrade, with the international variant (SM-S931B) recently appearing on Geekbench. Reports suggest that it will run Android 15 and have 12GB of RAM.
Beyond raw power, the Galaxy S25 series is rumored to bring substantial improvements to its display, camera technology, and battery life. The devices are expected to feature Dynamic AMOLED displays, potentially with higher refresh rates for better visuals. The advanced camera systems with advanced sensors and AI-powered features are said to deliver sharper, more detailed images in a variety of situations.
On the battery front, Samsung is reportedly focusing on greater efficiency, including larger capacities and faster charging speeds to meet the demands of intensive daily use. The series is also expected to retain its signature premium design, featuring a sleek glass and metal body with improved durability. A recent case leak also suggests that the series may get iPhone-like MagSafe charging capabilities.
Looking back, Samsung may introduce a fourth model in the lineup – Galaxy S25 Slim. Unlike the others, this model is rumored to be delayed in release, possibly arriving later than the rest of the series.
With an official announcement on the horizon, fans and tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting confirmation of these rumors and a closer look at the innovations that Samsung’s next generation of Galaxy devices will bring.
