Actor Salman Khan revealed that he is struggling with many rare brain and nerve conditions. Their condition highlights the importance of awareness and stress management in health.

In short
- Salman Khan is suffering from trigeminal neurolzia, causing severe pain on the face
- Brain aneuryism is an emergence in a blood vessel in the brain
- Stress and poor lifestyle can spoil these serious conditions
Actor Salman Khan recently revealed that he is struggling with many serious medical conditions, not one on the Great Indian Kapil show.
While Khan had earlier revealed about the struggling of trigeminal neurolzia, for which he underwent surgery for relief in 2011. Now, the actor has now revealed that he is facing two more neurological issues: a brain arteriography, and a arterial deformity (AVM).
Each of these health conditions here means, and why they should not be ignored.
What is a brain aneurysm?
A brain aneurysm is an emergence in the weak space of a blood vessel in the brain. Think of it like a balloon swelling with air, except that it is blood. Over time, this bulge may increase and, if it bursts, can cause brain bleeding. This life-drank condition is known as a hemorrhagic stroke.
Brain aneurysm is often associated with high blood pressure, stress, smoking and some genetic conditions.
Sometimes, they show no symptoms and are found only during the scan. But if they break, they can cause sudden, severe headache, blurred vision, or even fainting.
What is an AV deformity (AVM)?
The deformity of a arteries is a rare confusion of abnormal blood vessels in the brain. Generally, the blood flows from the arteries to the veins in a stable way. But in AVM, the blood directly reaches the veins from the arteries, leaving small capillaries in the middle. This disrupts normal circulation and puts pressure on the veins.
AVMs are usually existing from birth, but symptoms may not appear from years. When they do, they can cause headaches, ring in the ears, seizures, weakness, or speech problems. In severe cases, they can cause stroke or brain blood.
What is trigeminal neurolzia?
This condition is often called “suicide disease” because it can be so painful.
Trichiminal neurolzia causes pain in the face such as sharp, electric shock. The pain comes suddenly and can be triggered by eating, brushing teeth, or even smiling.
This occurs when a blood vessel puts pressure on the trigeminal nerve, which controls the facial sensation. It is a chronic disorder and can be difficult to manage pain, often requires medication or even surgery.
What do these conditions say about stress and health?
While Salman Khan did not blame his health issues on his lifestyle, experts say stress and irregular routine can make these conditions worse. Ruby Hall Clinic Pune Advisor Doctor Dr. Emperor Shah explains that poor sleep, stress and irregular programs disturb the body’s natural rhythm.
Over time, it can increase blood pressure and weaken blood vessels, making it more insecure to brain aneurism or AVM.
“Chronic stress enhances cortisol and blood pressure, which can overcome blood vessels over time and increase the risk of severe conditions such as heart disease or brain arterirs,” Dr. Shah tells India India.
Why Salman’s health matters to all of us
Despite dealing with painful and serious conditions, Salman Khan continues to work, even performs action scenes. His story is a reminder that health problems can affect anyone, whether they are strong or fit on the outside.
Working for a long time, resting, and ignoring regular health check -up can harm the body quietly.
