Sakamoto Days Chapter 189, titled ‘Great Misfortune’, begins with Shin saying that he will break the Sakamoto family’s rule of not killing. Enraged, he breaks a pipe from the wall with the intention of attacking Tenkyu, who appears bewildered and also demands a “time out” to apologize.
Before Shin can act, Heisuke intervenes, and snatches the pipe from Shin’s hand, causing Tenkyu to flee. This leads to a heated argument between Shin and Heisuke; Shin reveals that he has read Tenkyu’s mind and knows that he is serious about killing Aoi and Hana, while Heisuke urges caution, wanting to talk first.
Meanwhile, Tenkyu contemplates their strained relationship, but is interrupted by Atari and his guards breaking down the wall in Sakamoto Days Chapter 189. Atari identifies Tenkyu as a “great misfortune” that was prophesied to ruin his group. One of the guards attacks Tenkyu, but he refuses to retaliate.
Shin and Heisuke eventually arrive and interrogate him, realizing that the boy was following Shin’s words. However, when the guard reveals the identities of Shin and Heisuke as Sakamoto’s associates, Tenkyu captures and kills the guard, realizing he has been betrayed.
