Sail FY 25 net profit fell 23% to Rs. 2,371 crores

The Steel Authority India for India Limited (SIL) recorded a 22.66% annual reduction for financial 2024-25. The total revenue of the year under the review is Rs. 1.03 lakh crore. The company board has suggested the final dividend of Rs 1.60 per share (Rs 10 per share), subject to the approval of shareholders.

Cell reported a strong fourth quarter, with a unified net profit of fiscal year 1250.98 crore, which is 11.13% higher than the same period of fiscal year 2023-24.

Commenting on the results, Sail Chairman and Managing Director, Amarendu Prakash, said, “Among the challenges raised by international tariffs and import pressure present in the last quarter of FY 25, our strong performance reflects our ability to explore complications while strengthening our position.”
