As per advance bookings, despite its visual ambition, the film has managed to reach only a few IMAX shows across the country, with most premium screens still being dominated by Ranveer Singh. Dhurandhar: Revenge. The irony is that the same canvas remains largely out of the reach of Indian audiences. outcome? There is a growing sense of disappointment among cinemagoers who were hoping to experience the film the way it was meant to be seen.

After last-minute negotiations, Sony Pictures managed to secure a limited IMAX slot for Project Hail Mary. Till yesterday, screening was available only in select cities including Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Coimbatore. Notably, Delhi-NCR, which has seven IMAX screens, did not show a single show for the film on its opening day.

However, the situation changed slightly, with more IMAX shows being added in Delhi-NCR on Thursday.
