Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Episode 2: Release Date and Where to Stream
According to the official website, Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Episode 2 is scheduled to air on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 12:55 PM JST. Due to time zone differences, most fans around the world will be able to access the episode a day earlier, on October 10, 2024.
Most global fans can stream the episode on Thursday, although exact availability will vary by region and time zone. Crunchyroll will host the episode, but an alternate language dub has not been announced yet.

Expected Plot in Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Episode 2
According to the anime’s official website, Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Episode 2 will be titled ‘Meiji Tokaido Journey’ or simply ‘Meiji Tokaido’. In this episode, Megumi Takani, who lives in Tokyo, will face Aoshi Shinomori at Kamiya Dojo.
While searching for Kenshin, Aoshi will demand from Megumi to know his whereabouts. When Megumi tries to avoid answering, Ashi will threaten her and say that she will kill her if she doesn’t comply. At this time, another person is expected to arrive, but it is not clear who.
Meanwhile, Kenshin, who is now traveling towards Kyoto, will bump into a mysterious young girl while passing through the Hakone Mountains in Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Episode 2.

Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Episode 1, titled ‘To Kyoto’, begins with a flashback of Kenshin saying goodbye to Kaoru and encountering Hajime Saito. Saito offers Kenshin assistance, which is declined.
The episode then moves to Sanosuke, who is clearly disappointed by Kenshin’s departure. Determined to follow him, Sanosuke heads to his friend Tsunan Tsukioka to gather supplies, with Yahiko accompanying him.
However, Yahiko is being pursued by Saito, who warns him that his presence in Kyoto will only put Kenshin in danger in Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Episode 1, as he will need to protect them from formidable enemies.

This leads to a brief confrontation between Saito and Sanosuke, which ends without any major injuries, although Sanosuke gains some respect from Saito. Meanwhile, Megumi Takani visits Kaoru at the Kamiya Dojo, and uses tough love to break Kaoru out of her depressive state.
Now with Kaoru inspired, Yahiko and Sanosuke persuade him to join them in Kyoto to reunite with Kenshin. Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Episode 1 ends with a shot of Kenshin traveling towards Kyoto.
