Mathur further said, “There has been a slight increase in heart attack cases. Most of them are coming with low BP… You can’t say the cause of heart attack is heat alone, but we are seeing heart attack patients. Hospital visits also, which usually increase in heart attack cases in winter but currently due to heat wave people are coming to hospital with low BP problem.

According to India Meteorological Department, heatwave to severe heatwave conditions are very likely in isolated parts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and heatwave conditions are very likely in some parts of Uttar Pradesh. , East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, isolated parts of Jammu Division, Himachal Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh on 30 May.
