After launching Redmi A4 in November 2024, the company brings its successor – Redmi A5 – to India. Launched for Rs 6,499, the A5 has Unisoc T7250 chipset, 120Hz refresh rate and 32-megapixel primary camera. The Redmi A5 has a 6.88-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor, it has been paired with a gardener-G57 MP1 GPU. 3GB or 4GB LPDDR4X is available in RAM variants with internal storage up to 128GB, the device also supports microSD expansion up to 2TB, ensuring sufficient space for media and files.

Running the latest Android 15, it offers a modern software experience with better features and safety.
