Rashmika-Vijay welcome friends, pose with family at star-studded Hyderabad reception

Actress Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda held their wedding reception in Hyderabad, Telangana on March 4, 2026. The couple posed for pictures with their family as soon as they reached the Taj Krishna hotel.
As Rashmika and Vijay entered the venue together, the two greeted the photographers with folded hands. During the photo session, Rashmika made a heart sign with her hands while Vijay bowed and expressed his gratitude. Before going inside, the two also called their parents for a group photo.

Rashmika chose a traditional red silk saree with intricate black and gold border. She completed her look with heavy gold jewellery, which included a layered necklace and a matching headpiece, radiating a gracious and elegant festive charm.
Vijay wore a classic and neat outfit wearing a white V-neck kurta with a traditional dhoti. His look was accessorized with a simple silver chain and a sleek watch, demonstrating a sophisticated awareness of traditional style for this high-profile human interest outcome.
Actor Sarathkumar also reached the venue with his wife Radhika Sarathkumar. While Sarathkumar wore a white kurta with matching trousers, Radhika chose a dark green saree and matching blouse.
In an earlier official statement, the newlyweds announced that their decision to have an invitation-only reception was taken after consultation with local police authorities. Officials advised tight security and crowd-control measures due to the huge public attention at the ceremonies.
The note reads, “Virosh wedding reception will be an invitation-only event. Fans and guests are requested to support the safety measures.” Expressing gratitude for the support received, Vijay and Rashmika’s statement read, “Your safety and happiness means everything to us. We are deeply grateful for your love and blessings, and we request your cooperation to help keep this celebration safe and joyful for everyone.”
While stars from the Telugu industry including Allu Arjun and Ram Charan are expected to attend the reception, sources have confirmed that Sreeleela, Karan Johar, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika K. cocktail 2 Team Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Adajania will also attend the reception.
Earlier, on Tuesday, the couple had gone to Vijay’s native village in Telangana to perform traditional rituals. Both of them performed Satyanarayana Swamy Vratam and Grihapravesham (house-warming) at their newly constructed residence in Thummanpet. It is a common custom in many Indian households to mark the beginning of a wedding. Local villagers welcomed the pair with music and celebrations, as a crowd gathered to wish the stars well.
