Kannada actor and comedian Rakesh Poojari died at the age of 33 after a heart attack during the work of a friend in Udupi. Kantara star Rishab Shetty paid tribute to him in an emotional Instagram post.
Kannada and Tulu actor-comedian Rakesh Pujri died at the age of 33 after a sudden heart attack. Actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty, who acts in the upcoming film ‘Kanta: Chapter 1’, expressed his grief on Instagram.
In a emotional post in Telugu, he wrote, “You were not just a part of our life, but you left a deep impact on our hearts. Your smile, word, and appearance always bring happiness to the people around you. Even if you are not physically with us, your memories will survive forever in our hearts.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, 11 May, during the mehndi ceremony of a friend, in Nit, Karkala Taluk, Udupi district. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but could not be saved. Rakesh’s sudden death has shocked his fans and the film community.
Rakesh became a domestic name after winning the reality show ‘Comedy Khildigalu’ season 3 in 2020. He ended as a runner-up in the first season 2.
