Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on November 14. Their love story started on the sets of the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela. During his appearance at the India Today Conclave 2019, Ranveer revealed that after just six months of their relationship, he knew Deepika was the woman he wanted to start a family with.

When Ranveer Singh was asked about his love story with the love of his life, Deepika Padukone, he said, “It was very easy. After six months of our relationship, I knew she was the one. And, she Whom I want to marry.” Grow old with him and be the mother of my children. I nurtured him, took him with me. It was just a matter of time that I wanted him.”

During the same event, he also talked openly about Deepika’s dealing with depression. He said, “Every relationship has certain phases. If your focus is on making it work regardless of any issues, you make it. As a couple, we have seen each other through every phase “I’ve seen him go through different stages.” Once she went on this unprecedented phase of stardom and after I started dating her in 2013, I’ve seen a lot of growth and progress.”

He added, “It’s a matter of being patient and sensitive and having that empathy. She’s the warmest, nicest, magical everything-eating soul in the world. I’m the luckiest man in the world.”

On Thursday, November 14, Ranveer Singh shared a collection of unseen pictures of Deepika Padukone to celebrate their wedding anniversary. The pictures captured the actress’ heart-touching moments from Ranveer’s perspective. For the caption, he wrote, “Every day is wife appreciation day, but today is the main day. #HappyAnniversary @deepikapadukone. I love you.”

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married in a private ceremony at Lake Como, Italy in 2018. This year, in September, they welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Dua Padukone Singh.
