Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni made headlines with her performance in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. The renowned Delhi-based entrepreneur recently addressed violence in films like Animal and admitted that the films would have been different if his grandfather Raj Kapoor was alive.
Speaking at a session titled Fab Lives of Delhi Wives at Sahitya Aaj Tak 2024, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni was asked by an audience about her grandfather Raj Kapoor’s legacy of making films on social issues. Comparisons were made between classic films like Animal and Pushpa and contemporary films and asked whether it would have been possible to create better cinema if his grandfather had been alive.
In response to this, Riddhima said that there is a section of the audience which likes to watch films like Animal and Pushpa. He admitted that cinematic storytelling would have been different had his grandfather been alive.
He said, “If my grandfather were here today, I am sure you would have seen some of his remarkable films. But, audiences today are watching such films.”
Furthermore, the Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives fame addressed the important decision that she had to face after the release of the show. The 44-year-old mentioned that one is ready to present the best version of themselves. He emphasized on working hard and letting others do whatever they want and said that if someone finds pleasure in writing against someone, then let them do so. He expressed confidence in focusing on his work and opportunities.
Riddhima further said that if there was a next season, she would have wanted their family bonding to be showcased more. She admitted that her family comes first for her before anything else. To illustrate her point, she revealed that even today, when her daughter comes home from school, she makes sure to be with her and leaves everything else behind.
She said, “If there is another season, I want them to show more about my family, my yoga. I am the oldest newcomer in the family. Follow your dreams, don’t back down and do whatever you want.” Can do, do.”
The Netflix drama-reality show, Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives also stars Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari, Seema Sajdeh, Kalyani Saha Chawla and Shalini Pasi.
