Ram Charan talks openly about his wrist injury

Speaking about his wrist injury, Charan said that it happened three or four days before the team was to shoot the wrestling scene.

He said he “heard a click that felt like cartilage rupturing” and he avoided getting an MRI immediately because he feared the burden of the diagnosis would weigh on his mind while filming the scene.

He said, “It was one tear, but now there are seven tears because of 20 days of shooting. I just had to see the film and I wanted it to come out on June 4.”

Apart from the wrist injury, Ram Charan also suffered a minor eye injury on the sets of his film in early March.

A source close to the team confirmed to the publication, “Ram Charan was shooting an action sequence and got injured. He needed four stitches. The injury is above his eye, not in the eye as some reports suggested. His eye is completely fine.”

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, pediIt is an upcoming sports drama, also starring Janhvi Kapoor, Boman Irani and Divyendu in lead roles. The Telugu drama is set to release in theaters on June 4.
