Ram Charan is a superstar of Telugu cinema who shoulders the responsibility of his family, children and fans. Even though he is very busy with work, the actor-producer makes sure that he does not compromise in spending time with his three children, two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Cara and newborns, Shivaram and Anvira Devi. After having three children with Upasana Konidela, Ram Charan feels that his house is full. After the arrival of their twins, a boy and a girl, in January 2026, their responsibilities have increased manifold. When asked what kind of father he is, the RRR actor told Esquire India, “I’m a rugged kind of father. One who lets them jump, play dirty, climb and take risks.”
Talking about his wife’s way of raising his children, Rama expressed, “Their mother is the foundation of nourishment; they come to me when they want courage.” Ever since children, “the beats outside my heart”, have come into her life, they have completely changed her rhythm, her family and the entire home.
The whole house revolves around them. Hence due to shortage the house comes to a standstill. Despite being one of the highest paid actors, Ram and Upasana are deliberately raising him in an unconventional environment, giving him Montessori schooling and letting him discover new things and enjoy his enthusiasm.
The Peddi actor wants to learn from his children, “I would like them to learn this… how easy it is to be happy in life.” The entertainer revealed that despite his stardom and busy work life, he first wants to be a very present person, and I want to be a present father. According to him, “The greatest lessons we learn are by watching our parents.” Ram also considers his pets as his original family and his unit. “I try to keep my world a little small, limited,” the game changer shared.
