Rakhi Gulzar on Karan Arjun’s re-release, says young generation will love it

The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) witnessed a mix of nostalgia and new beginnings as veteran actress Rakhi Gulzar graced the occasion as the special guest. Gracing the red carpet for her comeback film immortal bossRakhi spread beauty and enthusiasm in the celebration.
Rakhi, who became famous in every household with the role of Durga Singh in Karan Arjun, talked about the re-release of the film.
“The younger generation will really love it and young children will also enjoy it a lot,” he said.
The actor is all set to return to the silver screen after almost two decades with his film, Amaar Boss, which premiered at the film festival.
Directed by the acclaimed duo Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, Amaar Boss is set to release in theaters this December. The film tells the heartfelt story of a single mother’s tireless determination to secure a bright future for her son despite facing financial struggles. It also stars Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Pradipto Ray along with Rakhi.
Reflecting on her experience at IFFI in Goa, she shared, “It’s a new environment, a new city. I used to attend in Delhi and still go there, but coming here is a refreshing change – although the time is a little Is less.”
The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which began on November 20, has showcased a remarkable selection of over 180 films from 81 countries. This year’s event features 16 world premieres, 3 international premieres, 43 Asian premieres and 109 Indian premieres.
