Actor Rajpal Yadav shares his reaction on the biopic michaelExpressed appreciation after watching the film based on Michael Jackson. The actor said he was particularly struck by a surprising detail linking Jackson to the great silent-era comedian Charlie Chaplin.

On May 2, the actor posted a series of photos on Instagram in which he was seen wearing a white shirt with a top hat in a Michael Jackson-inspired look.

What impressed him most was the revelation that Michael Jackson admired the great silent-era comedian Charlie Chaplin, saying this detail brought him joy and admiration for the late singer.

In its caption he wrote, “Whom the whole world was crazy about, and he himself was crazy about Charlie Chaplin, it felt very cool to hear this. (The one the whole world was crazy about was a fan of Charlie Chaplin himself – it warmed my heart to hear this!) (sic).”

Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, the film traces Jackson’s journey from his early days with the pop band The Jackson 5 in the 1960s to global fame through landmark tours such as the Bad Tour and the Victory Tour.

The film stars Jafar Jackson as Michael Jackson, alongside Colman Domingo, Miles Teller, Nia Long, Laura Harrier and Kendrick Sampson.
