There is a high probability that Qualcomm may aim to launch its next generation flagship mobile processor. Tipster Digital chat stationSnapdragon 8 Elite 2 – which is expected to provide electricity to several premium Android smartphones at the end of 2025 and early 2026 – the announcement can be made in late September. This will mark a change in Qualcomm’s general launch timeline, as the company usually unveils its top level processor at its annual Snapdragon summit held on or later. If it becomes accurate, Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will arrive a full month earlier than its predecessor, Snapdragon 8 Elite, which was launched on 21 October last year.

Tipster claims that Snapdragon 8 Elite will make its debut at the end of September 2, which features the commercial smartphone coming in October. This corresponds to the previous release cycles, where the major smartphones roll their major equipment about a month after the announcement of the brand Qualcomm. In China, brands such as Xiaomi, OnePlus and IQO are likely to be one of the first people to introduce a new chip -powered phone. The expected models include Xiaomi 16 series, OnePlus 14 and IQO 14.
In terms of technical reforms, Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is expected to upgrade a major upgradation on last year’s chip. Made on the Advanced 3Nm (N3P) process node of TSMC, chipset is rumored to increase GPU performance by 30 percent and improve CPU power by 25 percent. It has been tipped to use the other generation of Qualcomm to use the Oron CPU core, which is characterized by a combination of performance and efficiency core, which aims to balance between electricity and battery life. The base clock speed is expected to be around 4.4GHz, while the GPU – allegedly an Adreno 840 – is seen on 1.35GHz, which should offer smooth graphics and gaming performance.
One of the more impressive leaks around Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is its performance on benchmark tests. Tipster Digital chat stationThe chip has allegedly scored more than 3.8 million points on Antutu. Meanwhile, the Geekbench score suggests a 25 percent increase in single-core performance and 20 percent improvement in multi-core score as compared to the previous generation.
Architectural enhancements are also concerned, such as support for the latest V9 instruction set extension of ARMs such as SME1 and SV2. These additions are expected to promote on-device AI capabilities, computational photography and other heavy charge. Additionally, a large cache size – rumors of being around 16MB – can increase the accountability and overall performance of the system by about 30 percent.
More details will be the possibility of surface in the coming months, but for now, Android fans have a good reason for getting excited. Stay for India Today Tech for all the latest on Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Chip.
