For the past few weeks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series has been noted as it had gone through pre-order and launch. Now that it has been launched, let’s see what else is there. Google is creating its market share and while it is not yet near the Samsung level, its latest flagships present a serious challenge for the Galaxy Line.
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL could not match the Galaxy S25 Ultra Camera Pro compared to our head-to-head, although there was not a large lead in Galaxy. In addition, the pixel has things for this, such as ultra-wide selfie and a separate (something better, cannot be others) can be taken on Android.
Even if the pixel can’t beat the galaxy on performance (and Snapdragon 8 Elite is easily at the top of the Tensor G4), the price can lead to the Pixel – Pro XL 256 starts from $ 1,000 for the 256 GB phone Happens, S25 Ultra starts at $ 1,300 (with $ 200 gift cards, but still).

Google Pixel 9 Pro has the same camera setup as its XL Sibling. So perhaps it can’t beat Ultra, but the Samsung Galaxy S25 has a fairly basic set of cameras – it has a lack of 200MP main and ultra’s periscope. This makes a camera for an easy win in battle, but the galaxy has the performance benefits.
The pixel is also large and heavy (199g vs 162g), their battery corresponds equally in terms of both endurance and charging speed. Unlike XL vs Ultra, the cost of Pixel 9 Pro and Galaxy S25 is about the same, if you look at the 256GB model: $ 900 and $ 860, respectively (the latter includes a gift card of $ 100).

Both companies have cheap options for their flagship. From Google it is Pixel 9, which starts with $ 650 (for 128GB phones). This is similar to the pro model, but the low resolution is non-LTPO display and no telephoto camera. You can get more detailed comparison here.

Samsung’s budget offering is Samsung Galaxy S24 Fe. Interestingly, it uses an Exynos 2400E instead of a Snapdragon – it is a great artist for chip price and is quite faster than Tensor G4. The model has a telephoto camera, an 8MP 75 mm unit, but its ultra-wide is only 12MP (48MP vs. on Pixel 9).

Google also has Pixel 8A, which now starts at $ 400. It is more than a mid-ranger, however, with the old tenser G3 chip and slow charging (but both wired and wireless are available). A Pixel 9A has been rumored for some time, it is expected to be launched in late March.

Samsung and Google also have tablets, although only the Korean company has a variety of offerings. But the two we are looking at today are matching equally – both cost $ 300 for 128GB models and 256GB variants are $ 10 different.
Both IPS are 10.9 “tablets with LCDs – 90Hz on Galaxy than 60Hz on Pixel, but Pixel Tablet has a higher pixel density. Both show support stylus. However, the Galaxy Tab S9 Fe has a dex feature for multitasking, which has a microSD slot and has been rated for dust and water resistance (no IP ratings on the pixel). The Galaxy also has a large battery with rapid charging (8,000mAh, 45W vs. 7,020mAh, 15W).
