Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun’s latest release, Pushpa 2, is unstoppable. According to tracking and trading site Sacknilk, the Sukumar directed film has earned Rs 1194 crore domestically on the 30th day of its release.

Earlier, the makers had shared that the film has crossed the Rs 1800 crore mark globally. There was some increase in the film’s earnings on New Year’s Day. However, it declined soon after. Despite its ups and downs, Pushpa 2 is still drawing crowds, especially in the northern belt, and is expected to pick up momentum over the weekend.

While the film created a lot of buzz among audiences and fans, critics were somewhat divided, with India Today Digital giving it 2.5 stars. “Compared to the first part, Pushpa 2 feels somewhat disjointed. The sequel focuses more on creating moments rather than building a coherent story. It focuses on Allu Arjun’s stardom, and unfortunately, his storytelling ability. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 focuses on the character of Pushparaj (played by Allu Arjun) and tracks his Lal Chandan syndicate over the course of two hit films.

Apart from Allu Arjun, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagdish Pratap Bandari, Sunil, Anasuya Bhardwaj, Rao Ramesh and Jagapathi Babu in lead roles.
