According to the report, a possible sequel is being discussed by insiders. While neither the studio nor writer Andy Weir have confirmed a follow-up book or film sequel, it seems the team is already working on it. The author has not yet worked on a second book for any of his projects, but the widespread popularity of this book seems like a perfect choice for the first one.
According to reports, it appears that the film grossed a whopping USD 80 million in North America alone in its debut. By the sixth day, it had crossed USD 100 million and reached USD 150 million in domestic figures.
Meanwhile, India is currently struggling to get enough screens for the science fiction project, which has found a strong link among families, as it enjoys the grand scale of Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2), which has dominated the theatres.
