A security breach came to light at Diljit Dosanjh’s San Francisco concert when a pro-Khalistan protestor reached the stage and was arrested. The interruption came amid recent threats linked to radical groups, but the singer continued with the show.

There was a disruption on stage at Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in San Francisco on Friday when a Khalistan supporter jumped onto the stage carrying a flag. The incident caused a brief chaos, before venue security and local police intervened, tackled the man and took him into custody.
Diljit continued his performance during the incident and resumed his dance after the man was arrested. He kept the focus on entertainment and diaspora unity throughout his performance.

The incident happened during Diljit’s live performance in San Francisco last night. According to inputs, the protester ran onto the stage in the middle of the show, causing a security breach.

The disruption comes amid recent online threats and disruptions linked to radical groups including Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) over Diljit’s appearance in mainstream Indian media. The singer has reiterated his position on live events, saying that anyone who tries to harass his fans or disrupt the concert will be removed by local authorities.

The incident happened when Diljit Dosanjh’s North American Aura World Tour 2026 was about to end. The stadium and arena tour concluded with shows held at San Francisco’s Chase Center on June 20 and 21, 2026.
Recently, the Los Angeles City Council honored Diljit Dosanjh by declaring January 6, 2027 as Diljit Dosanjh Day. The resolution recognized his role in taking Punjabi music to a worldwide audience and promoting South Asian culture in mainstream American entertainment.
