Actors Priya Banerjee and Pratic Babbar tied the knot at a private ceremony on Valentine’s Day. However, Pratic’s father, veteran actor-consignate Raj Babar’s noticeable absence, with his half-siblings, Aria and Juhi Babbar, expressed rumors of family tension. Addressing the speculation, Priya finally said, “Everyone who matched was with us.”
Addressing speculation about the absence of Pretic Babbar’s family from her wedding ceremony, Priya Banerjee clarified in an interview with Hindustan Times that no family members were missing.
She rejected the rumors, stating that her loved ones were present, including her parents, Pratic’s aunt who picked her up, as well as her grandparents. He emphasized that whoever matters and the family was considered to celebrate with them.
While reflecting his wedding day, Banerjee shared that it came out in the same way that he and Pratic Babbar had imagined. He described it as an intimate and special occasion, surrounded by his closest loved ones under a roof. The day became even more meaningful, revealing that the marriage was that the wedding was in the rock cliff, which was a house owned by Pratic’s late mother Smita Patil.
Priya explained that her mother had bought the house with the intention of staying there and raising them, but the circumstances did not allow it. She expressed the belief that the house was a gift from him, as if she wished to start her new journey for her.
The couple have always been open about their relationship, although there was some surprise in their sudden marriage. Priya shared that marrying Pretic does not make any different feeling, as they have been together for about five years and are already living under the same roof. He said that his bond seems so deep that it seems as if she has known her forever.
Connecting a philosophical perspective, Pretic expressed that the experience seems almost familiar, as if he has done countless times before. He commented that his Sangh goes beyond time and place, assuming that he marries Priya in every lifetime and the universe, many more to come yet.
