Streaming platform JioHotstar has announced that The Raja Saab will feature an extended cut in its OTT release, following calls from viewers to include scenes missing from the theatrical version.

Many viewers highlighted the absence of scenes showing Prabhas in different looks, which was prominently teased during the promotions. “Why didn’t this look appear in the film?” one fan asked, while another criticized the film’s editing, calling it “careless.” Reactions quickly gained momentum, with many demanding a full version of the film.
Director Maruthi acknowledged the feedback and addressed the concerns raised by fans. In his conversation he admitted that the removal of some parts was not liked by a section of the audience. Referring to Prabhas’ makeover in the film, Maruti said that fans were particularly attracted to the actor’s “attitude and swag”, indicating that these moments would be restored in the extended OTT cut.
