Actress Pooja Hegde has strongly condemned the leaking of Vijay’s last film. Jan NayganOnline. For those unaware, she is paired opposite Vijay in H Vinoth’s political entertainer.

The 35-year-old expressed his disappointment in an Instagram Story on Saturday, highlighting the hard work and dedication behind the project.

Pooja urged fans to respect the efforts of everyone involved by watching the film through official channels. He stressed the importance of experiencing the film on the big screen, especially as it is Vijay’s last film.

“My dear viewers. A film is the result of countless hours, creative risks, personal sacrifices and a team that comes together every day hoping to give you the best experience,” Pooja wrote in her message.

He further added, “It’s disappointing to see our film leaked online, not just for me, but for every single person who worked on it. It’s tough to see it leaked and shared illegally – not because of the numbers, but because it takes away the respect of every artist and technician in the film. Also, don’t we all deserve to gather together to celebrate Vijay sir’s last film and see it properly on the big screen for the last time.”

Pooja ended her appeal by urging the audience to wait for the official release, saying, “So let’s see it the right way. Let’s wait. It will release on time. Let’s not encourage piracy. This is how cinema and art will survive.”

Industry expressed concern over the leak

Many prominent South Indian film personalities have reacted strongly to this leak. Filmmakers AR Murugadoss, Raghava Lawrence, PA Ranjith and actor Karthi have all condemned the unauthorized dissemination Jan Naygan.

AR Murugadoss wrote on social media, “When a film gets leaked, it’s not just a film – it’s dreams, sweat and livelihood. Please support films the right way – only in theaters and on official platforms.” Raghava Lawrence highlighted the dedication behind film production and called piracy a direct insult to the artistes and technicians.

Actor Karthi described the leak as “damaging for the entire industry” and appealed to the audience to support the film through appropriate channels. Pa Ranjith described the leak as “truly disturbing and absolutely unacceptable” and urged strict action against those responsible.

Veteran actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have also condemned the leak, with Rajinikanth demanding strict action and Kamal Haasan linking the issue to the delay in the film’s certification process.

The production house, KVN Productions, has initiated a legal investigation and reminded the public that piracy is a criminal offense under copyright laws.
