Kajol steps into the role of a fearless and dedicated mother in the trailer of his upcoming horror film Ma. The trailer teases a cool story of a mother, which turns into a fierce avatar of Goddess Kali to break a terrible curse born of fear, bloodshed and betrayal. The trailer opens with Kajol that navigates the solitary one road with his daughter on the passenger seat. The daughter mentions that she is experiencing cramps during the period, and Kajol assures her that she will soon take a break and everything will be alright.
However, his journey takes a terrible turn when a shady figure crashes against the window of his car, suddenly draws him to the terrible village of Chandanpur, where an inauspicious story comes out.
Kajol warned her daughter to never leave without her consent. As the mystery deepens, it reveals the presence of a haunted tree that bothers negative spirits.
Ronit Roy’s character enters, stating that many girls have gone missing from that place in recent months. Angry and determined, Kajol’s pledge would not allow his daughter to be the next victim in the village dark rituals to raise the curse. But the question is, can she close her child with frightening forces?

The film’s composers of the film are rigorous Upadhyay, Rocky Khanna and Shiva Malhotra. The Maa is set to release in theaters on 27 June 2025.
