In the trending pole, fans were given five options for choosing, namely masculine, hiccups, palaces, Bunty and Baballi 2, and Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway. Among them, 39% of the people voted as Rani Mukherjee’s action-thriller film, Mardaani as her favorite. For unknown, actress policeman Shivani plays Shivani Shivaji Roy, which is firm to solve the human trafficking case in the country.
Produced by her husband, Aditya Chopra, the film became a huge hit, after which the team came in 2019 with a sequel, Mardaani 2. Since the second installment was also a hit, Mardani 3 was later declared. According to the latest reports, Rani has started shooting for the third part of the franchise, in which he will repeat her role as Shivani Shivaji Roy.
In December last year, on the release anniversary of Mardani 2, the producers officially announced the third part of the film with a poster. In the caption, he wrote, “The wait is over! #Ranimukerji #Mardaani3 is back as furious Shivani Shivaji Roy. In theaters in 2026.” The reports reported that the film will be directed by Abiraj Minwala under the YRF banner.
Coming back to the pole, Rani’s 2018 comedy-drama film, Hichki, finished second with 26% of the people. In the third place, we have a lock: lies within the north, including Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajkumar Rao and others. Her 2023 legal drama film, Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway, finished fourth in the poll, while Hest Comedy Film, Bunty and Baballi 2, came out for the last time.
