Pogumidam Vigu Thuramilai’s plot follows a road trip carried by a morchary van driver, which faces a diverse set of people, with each with his own unique personality and stories.
Amidst its otherwise worldly routine, Kumar has been assigned to transport the body of an elderly man, whose death has made a bitter quarrel between his sons on heritage and property.
As Kumar reaches his journey from Chennai to Tirunelveli, he overtakes his own struggling family – a helpless grandfather and a sick wife – who operates with the hope of returning with financial stability and a new beginning.
Thus, the roadside is a series of chaos and a series of moments that lead Kumar to a deep feeling: the depth of human concerns often overtakes selfish activities.
