Taapsee Pannu and her saris in Paris have become the talk of the town. The actress got married to Danish badminton player Mathias Boe earlier this year. Hence, she went to support him at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024 where she coached and trained two of the finest Indian athletes, Chirag Shetty and Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy.

Since arriving in the foreign city, Taapsee Pannu has been doing all the touristy things like enjoying street shows, eating at local cafes and visiting the major tourist spots of Paris. Some time back, the Dunki actress also posted several pictures from the city.

Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “A very touristy day that turned into a crazy athletic showdown. What a thrill to watch the speed and strength of the best in the world live. A classic day all the way #RaniInParis.”

To keep an eye:

The expedition was also attended by her husband, former Olympic medallist and world number one, Mathias Boe, and her sister Shagun Pannu. Boe too posted a selfie with the two beautiful women in his life on his Instagram Stories and captioned it, ‘Tourist’.

But on August 3, after Chirag Shetty and Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy were knocked out of the Olympics, Bo announced his retirement. He shared a photo with the two youngsters and wrote, “I understand this feeling all too well. Pushing yourself to the limit every day, being in the best shape of your life, and then things don’t go as you expected. I know you guys are disappointed, I know how much you wanted to bring back a medal for India, but it just couldn’t happen this time.”

Announcing his retirement as a coach, Matthias said, “For me, my coaching days end here, I am not going to India or anywhere else, at least for now. I have spent too much time in the badminton hall and being a coach is too stressful, I am a tired old man.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee Pannu will be next seen in the sequel of the 2021 film Haseen Dillruba, titled Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba.
