Singer Shreya Ghoshal marked the musical conclusion of the three-day Sahitya Aaj Tak 2024 in New Delhi with her magical performance. The singer sang some of her popular chartbusters.

She was also joined on stage by 2010 Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla runner-up Kinjal Chatterjee.

Despite the Delhi cold, Shreya set the mood with her heart-touching tracks like Teri Ore from Singh Is Kinng and O Sathi Re from Omkara.

Apart from her songs, the highlight of the evening was Parineeta singing the unreleased version of Pihu Bole. It was written from the perspective of Vidya Balan’s character.

Shreya also expressed her gratitude and talked about her bond with Gulzar. He shared how the veteran writer and lyricist still calls him ‘Bachua’.

As the evening progressed, Shreya talked about her equation with composers Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. He said, “Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy have always created amazing music and any composition composed by them is wonderful to sing.”

At the closing ceremony, the singer mesmerized the audience by singing Lata Mangeshkar’s evergreen song Lag Ja Gale. He even thanked his fans for their selfless love and expressed his happiness at being able to sing some songs that are not usually in his tour setlist.
