Jaideep Ahlawat is currently basic under the important success of its recently released web show, Patal Lok season 2. While Hati Ram Chaudhary’s performance has received immense appreciation from fans, a part of internet users also stated that the actor should be honored the National Award for his performance. Recently, the actor reacted to such praise on the Internet.
Talking with India Today Digital, Jaideep Ahlawat today, reacting to the people expecting a national award for their performance, saying that the web show is not considered for the above honor. His co-star Tilotama Shom, who was sitting next to him, took a pinch that it should now be started due to Ahlwat.
Clearly agreeing with him, Jaideep also said, “Because of me, they should start considering.” Asked if he considers his performance worthy of the national award, the actor said that he never thought of that. “Wes kabi thought Nahin ki Tu Worth Hai National Award or Nahin … Nahin Nahin, such a crush Nahin thinking (I never thought that if a demonstration is worthy of national award. No, there is nothing like that ).
Nevertheless, Jaideep admitted that he proudly would collect the awards because, according to him, an honor is an honor. He said, “Samman Samman’s Tarah Leena, whether it is a coushi badi butt (an honor should be taken as an honor. There is no big deal about it),” he said.
In addition, he also addressed the duality of his character, who is enough progressive to discuss homosexuality with his friend Ansari, who is gay but opposes the idea of a working wife. In his defense, Jaideep explained that it is not completely what it seems.
Jaideep said that Hathi Ram Chaudhary did not want his wife to see her as a failure, and therefore, she was not happy about her work. According to him, his character is a ‘free’ man, but is constantly being told about him that he is lost in his work.
