Starring Mammootty and Mohanlal in lead roles along with Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Revathi, Darshana and others, the film collected Rs. 27 crores. This would be very low for a film of this caliber.
The Mahesh Narayanan directorial needs to take off in the second weekend to reach a respectable total. The Patriot was first seen as a potential RS. The film was supposed to earn Rs 100 crores, but now it is struggling even to reach Rs 100 crores. Gross figure of 50 crores in Kerala. Let’s see whether we see some increase in it in the coming days or not.
